The name of this section is something I call "Different Faces". The intent is to showcase a bloom with different "looks", as the seasons change; as they appear in other locations; or even in your own yard.
THIS BLOOM IS THE CREATION OF M.B. ACADIANA'S OWN SANDRA THEALL OF ABBEVILLE, LA. (THIS BLOOM IS ALSO ONE OF THE PARENTS OF MARIANNE CHARLTON PICTURED IN ANOTHER PARAGRAPH IN THIS SECTION.) THESE PICTURES WERE ALL FROM SANDRA'S GARDEN.
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK MIKE BERNARD ACADIANA CHAPTER MEMBER THERESA GORE FOR THIS COMPARISON OF GREEN ELF FROM IT'S SUMMER FACE TO WINTER FACE.
NOVEMBER 2010 SUMMER 2011
Here is a curious comparison of Black Jack that I have not seen before with its reddish coloring. My Black Jack only blooms as in the picture on the left. Theresa Gore sent this comparison from her yard in Lafayette, La. Very nice and unusual picture. Thanks Theresa, that is what this section is all about!
THANKS TO BARRY FOR HYBRIDIZING THIS WONDERFUL BLOOM. (ALL PICS BY BARRY)
I WISH TO THANK NINA BJELOVUCIC FROM CROATIA FOR PROVING THE NOVEMBER PICS OF ROYAL VELVET, MR. ACE, TAHITIAN PRINCESS AND TIGERAMA.
